Why does my progress reset when I log back into a chapter?

To meet state requirements, each chapter in this course has a timer to ensure you spend the required time on the material. The timer is displayed at the top of each page and must run until it expires for your progress to be saved.
If you log out or close the course before the timer has completed, your progress for that chapter will not be saved. When you log back in, the timer will reset, and you’ll need to start that chapter again from the beginning.
Tip: To save your progress, please complete each chapter in one sitting without logging out or closing the course.
